----------

First computer animation: 1975 Rutgers

First ever computer animation produced while undergrad at Rutgers in 1975. Filmed with Super 8 film using an APL system displayed on Tektronix 4013 display.

Second computer animation: 1975 Rutgers

Second computer animation at Rutgers filmed with Super 8 camera. Images generated using APL system (we developed) displayed on Tektronix 4013.

Cubes, third computer animation: 1975-76 Rutgers

Third computer animation at Rutgers filmed with Super 8 camera. Images generated using APL system (we developed) displayed on Tektronix 4013.

First Dance: 1976 Rutgers

The first computer generated human figure/dance I created. Note how the arms stretch due to linear interpolation rather then correct rotations.

Three Figures: 1976 Rutgers

Computer dance produced in 1976 or 1977 while an undergrad at Rutgers. Choreography by Richard Barclift.

Da Movies: 1978 Rutgers

Student film made in 1978 later shown at the 1980 "Festival de Jeune Cinema" in Hyeres France. Computer Animation shot in 16mm restored here with original music "Take Five" by "The Dave Brubeck Quartet". Scene of a computer generated movie theater in which a little porn occurs on the screen possibly being the first ever CG of such activities ;-) A virtual audience member is offended and walks out.
