According to a Washington Post article Prisoner of Panic After 9/11 our dear country has imprisoned an Algerian citizen, cleared of charges but now condemned to a life of legal limbo.

This sort of stuff just makes me nuts! Our legal system as imperfect as it is remains one of the best things in this country. This type of abuse harkens back to the dark days of World War II. At least the press isn't totally muzzled yet.
